Voltalia plans to raise a loan for the construction of a solar photovoltaic power plant in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The French company Voltalia plans to attract a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the construction of a solar photovoltaic plant in Uzbekistan.

According to the EBRD, Voltalia intends to raise US$34 million for the implementation of a construction project for the construction of a 100 MW photovoltaic station in Khorezm region.

Voltalia won the tender for the construction of a solar photovoltaic power plant at the end of 2022. The cost of the project is US$85 million. The capacity of the station will be 123 MW
