Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated the heads of foreign states and governments, as well as heads of international organizations, Merry Christmas and the upcoming New Year, 2022. This was reported by the press service of the President of the Russian Federation.

In his New Year greetings to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Vladimir Putin expressed hope that in the coming year, 2022, a fruitful dialogue and close joint work on topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda will be continued.

“This undoubtedly meets the fundamental interests of the friendly peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan, goes in line with ensuring peace, security and stability in the Central Asian region,” the President of Russia stated.

In addition, the head of the Russian state stressed that the recent visit to Moscow of Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed the strength of the Russian-Uzbek relations of strategic partnership and alliance, made it possible to outline new promising joint projects and areas of interaction.
