Vladimir Putin invites Uzbek leader to visit Russia

At the meeting of Putin with Karimov in Ufa, the Russian leader recalled that the President Islam Karimov was not in Russia with state visit for a long time. He said that Karimov visits Russia frequently, but such formal diplomatic things make sense.

“I want to invite you to the Russian Federation with the state visit,” President of Russia said at the meeting with the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

In his turn, Karimov accepted invitation of Vladimir Putin to visit Russia in 2015.
