Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 28 April 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine Jawad Muhammad Awad.

Accepting copies of his credentials, Norov congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in carrying out his responsible diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as interaction within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international structures.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
