Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 October 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received Jonathan Charles, Communications Consultant of the Office of Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Suma Chakrabarti.

Charles highly appreciated the work carried out in New Uzbekistan to ensure freedom of speech and support for the media, strengthen the principles of openness and transparency in state and public administration, and strengthen public control.

An exchange of views took place on the study and implementation of advanced foreign experience, modern IT technologies and analytical methods in the process of transformation in the information and communication sphere.

Proposals and recommendations were considered to strengthen internal communications in Uzbekistan and improve the country's international image.

Jonathan Charles expressed readiness to continue to actively assist the Government of Uzbekistan in relevant areas.
