Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 31 August 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission.

Vladimir Norov congratulated the Ambassador with the Dustlik order, which was confirmed to the US diplomat in line with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was noted that this is a high assessment of his contribution to strengthening the Uzbek-American strategic partnership.

Daniel Rosenblum emphasized that during his work in Uzbekistan he witnessed large-scale reforms that contributed to the dynamic progress of the republic in all areas. He confirmed the commitment of the US government to the full support of the course of dynamic transformations being implemented in Uzbekistan.

The sides noted with the satisfaction on the successful holding of a series of events within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue. The readiness of Uzbekistan and the United States to take joint measures for the comprehensive implementation of previously reached agreements was confirmed.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of upcoming meetings at the bilateral level and in the C5+1 format.

The US Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for all-round support and favorable conditions created for the implementation of his diplomatic activities in the country, assuring that he would remain a friend of Uzbekistan in any position.
