Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The duration of the visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be reduced from 3 days to 1 day, taking into account the situation in the energy and public utilities of the country. This was stated by the head of state.

He noted that this visit is important as it is necessary to learn the valuable experience of Singapore in the fight against corruption.

It is also planned to attract additional investments from Singapore up to US$4.7 billion, Mirziyoyev said.

In particular, investments will be attracted in the privatization of inefficient state-owned enterprises, the head of state added.

Earlier it was reported that the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Singapore from 16 to 18 January 2023.
