Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Harm caused by illegal actions of bodies conducting pre-investigation checks, bodies of inquiry, preliminary investigation, prosecutor’s office and court as a result of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, will be compensated by the state in in full.

This was announced by the head of the information service of the National Center for Human Rights Gulom Mirzaev.

In accordance with the requirements of the law, now the physical and moral, as well as material damage caused to victims of torture, or lost profits, expenses related to moral damage, legal advice, medicines and medical services, psychological and social services will be compensated by the state.
