Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.UP-6303 from 27 August 2021, the vice-president of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang Keon was awarded the Dustlik order for merits in establishing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. 

The honorary award was presented on 16 December in Seoul by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov.

During the ceremony, it was noted that the order is being awarded in recognition of the enormous contribution to the deepening of the multifaceted partnership of the two countries, the intensification of interaction in the political, trade, economic, investment spheres, as well as in the fields of science and technology, culture and the humanities, support for the promotion of Uzbekistan’s initiatives in the international arena and strengthening friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Korea and Uzbekistan.

Kim Chang Keon expressed gratitude for the high assessment of his role in the development of Uzbek-Korean cooperation, noting that this award will serve as an incentive for him to further intensify the activities of the Association, and also expressed his commitment to the implementation of existing programs and projects and joint work on new initiatives to bring business communities closer together. two countries.
