Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Veolia Energy Tashkent started installing recirculation pumps in multi-apartment buildings in Tashkent.
Pumps are installed in problem areas and improve the supply of heating and hot water. The company plans to purchase the next batch of equipment after the installation of the existing 230 pumps.
In November of this year, Veolia Energy Tashkent IE LLC implemented a pilot project to improve the district heating system in the Dustlik-1 massif of the Yangikhayot district. The company’s specialists installed recirculation pumps in seven multi-storey buildings. This decision made it possible to increase the pressure and optimize the circulation of hot water, and as a result, improve heating in residential premises.
The pumps have shown their effectiveness in maintaining the overall balance of heat supply. Veolia Energy Tashkent has purchased 230 compact recirculation pumps, which will soon be installed in problem areas.
Locations were selected using Termis Engineering software. This advanced multifunctional platform is used by district heating companies in more than 500 cities around the world.
After digitizing the heating networks of Tashkent, the Termis Engineering program identified the most vulnerable areas of the city that needed to install additional equipment.
Currently, recirculation pumps are being installed in three 12-storey buildings in the Chilanzar district. Identical pumps were also installed in four multi-storey buildings in the Yashnabad district.
Veolia Energy Tashkent said it will continue to purchase and install equipment in 2023. The installation of this accessory will not affect the applicable rates.
