Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the moment, Uzbekistan continues to vaccinate with a 3-dose of the Uzbek-Chinese vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001 as part of the 3 phase of clinical trials of vaccination against coronavirus.

As of 19 March 2021, the number of people who came for screening was 14404. Of these, 13239 people signed consent, 13099 passed the express test, and 9969 passed the PCR-test. 6859 volunteers received the first dose, 6614 people received a 2-dose and 2245 volunteers received a 3-dose of ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine.

To date, the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine, developed by Uzbek-Chinese scientists, is the only vaccine in Uzbekistan that is undergoing clinical trials in accordance with WHO requirements.
