Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSC "Uzvtorvtsvetmet" may be reorganized through a merger with JSC "Jizzakh Battery Plant."

On 30 April 2025, JSC "Uzvtorvtsvetmet" will hold an extraordinary general shareholders' meeting. Among the main agenda items is the question of reorganizing the enterprise by merging "Uzvtorvtsvetmet" with JSC "Jizzakh Battery Plant."

In accordance with Articles 40-41 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Joint-Stock Companies and Protection of Shareholders' Rights," shareholders of JSC "Uzvtorvtsvetmet" have the right to demand the buyback of their shares by the company.

The list of shareholders eligible for the buyback will be compiled as of 24 April 2025, and the buyback will be conducted at the market price determined by an appraisal organization.

To proceed with the buyback, shareholders can submit a written request, indicating their place of residence, an extract or copy of their deposit account, the number of shares, and bank details for the transfer of funds.
