UzVC Demo Day & Central Asia Venture Conference 2025 Held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 December, the “UzVC Demo Day & Central Asia Venture Conference 2025” took place at the “U-ENTER” Innovation Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the national venture fund “UzVC,” the country’s fund of funds.

The event brought together venture funds, startup founders, accelerators, technology companies, legal and financial consultants, as well as international investors, including Techstars, Orbit Ventures, Elpis Labs (USA), Tensor Ventures, Domino Ventures (Europe), LTV Capital, Sturgeon Capital (UK), along with European venture funds and companies such as Big Sky Capital, Activat VC, MOST Ventures, White Hill Capital, and representatives of accelerator organizations.

As part of the event, the national venture fund “UzVC” signed an agreement with Kazakhstan’s “Alem Venture Fund” and Big Sky Capital to transfer assets for venture fund management.

In addition, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the national venture fund “UzVC,” AKS Services Group, IFC, the Asian Development Bank, UNDP, as well as partners from Techstars, Orbit Ventures, Tensor Ventures, and LTV Capital held meetings and negotiations to discuss joint projects and potential areas for further cooperation.

The conference also addressed ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, opportunities for startups, mechanisms for attracting foreign investment, as well as the initial outcomes of the “SGP 2.0” (Startup Growth Program 2.0).

Twelve startups participating in the “Startup Growth Program 2.0” presented their projects (pitches) to international investors, accelerators, and experts, generating strong interest among potential investors.
