Uzum surpasses 16 million users in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — More than 16 million residents of Uzbekistan now use Uzum’s services, according to the fintech company’s press service.
Uzum Bank has issued over 700,000 Uzum cards with a renewable credit limit, which customers can use for microloans or installment purchases from partner stores. The total volume of issued installments and microloans in 2024 increased 2.7 times compared to the previous year, reaching $421 million.
The overall gross merchandise volume (GMV) of Uzum’s e-commerce segment grew 2.4 times year-on-year. The number of orders on the Uzum Market marketplace doubled to 19 million, with approximately 60% of all purchases coming from regional customers.
Uzum Market is actively expanding its logistics infrastructure. In the fall, the company launched Central Asia’s largest logistics complex. The number of Uzum Market pickup points tripled, reaching around 1,000 locations. Currently, 14,000 Uzbek entrepreneurs sell their products on the platform.
Uzum Tezkor, the company’s rapid delivery service, continues expanding across the country. It is now available in 18 cities, with the number of orders growing more than sixfold compared to last year.
