UZSE’s net income hits 206.869m soums

Net income of open joint stock company “Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent” (UZSE) grew from 19.327 million soums in 2010 to 206.869 million soums in 2011, the annual report of the exchange said.
According to the report, net revenue grew from 540.152 million soums in 2010 to 1.02 billion soums in 2011. Prime cost rose from 163.055 million soums to 178.169 million soums in the reporting period.
Expenses rose to 739.334 million soums from 542.87 million soums in 2010. Income from main activity fell from 136.167 million soums to 38.445 million in the reporting period.
Income from financial activity increased from 62.228 million soums to 109.932 million soums in the reporting period. Expenses from financial activity slipped from 7.928 million soums in 2010 to 112,000 soums in 2011.
Total volume of deals in 2011 made up 213.1 billion soums. Compared to 2010, the volume rose three times (64.4 billion soums).
The secondary market accounted deals for 112.9 billion soums (53% of total turnover) and IPO market – 100.2 billion soums (47%).
The report said that the assets rose from 1.715 billion soums in 2010 to 1.891 billion soums in 2011. Fixed assets grew from 167.84 million soums in 2010 to 200.041 million soums in 2011.
The charter capital of the exchange made up 1 billion soums in the end of 2011.
