UZSE turnover makes up 8.8bn soums in October

Turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 8.8 billion soums in October 2014, which fell almost 4 times compared to October 2013 (34.5 billion soums).
Overall, the exchange recorded 65 deals with 6.8 million securities of 19 issuers.
About 96.1% or 8.5 billion soums from total deals fell to share of IPO market. The share of the secondary market was 0.3 billion soums or 3.9%.
The average size of the exchange deals in October 2014 was 135.8 million soums against 565.4 million soums in the same month of 2013.
The average daily volume of the deals with the securities market made up 420.2 million in October 2014 against 2.029 billion soums in October 2013.
The average price of realized one share was 1,299 soums in October 2014 compared to 3,763.1 soums in October 2013.
Largest deal of the month was recorded on 24 October at the platform for corporate securities with special conditions of placement. Some 1.4 million shares of Trustbank for 1.7 billion soums were realized within the deal.
In the reporting period, about 98.9% or 8.7 billion soums from total deals were conducted with shares of the banks and 0.9% or 0.08 billion soums – enterprises of construction complex.
