UZSE turnover makes up 8.1bn soums in August

Trade turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 8.1 billion soums in August 2015, which grew by 2.1 times compared to August 2014 (3.9 billion soums).
During the month, the exchange recorded 167 deals with 23.5 million securities of 22 issuers.
About 92.79% of deals (7.5 billion soums) were recorded in the secondary market. Share of the IPO market was 7.21%.
The average size of exchange deals in August reached 48.5 million soums (10 million soums in August 2014).
The average daily volume of deals with the securities reached 426.9 million (279.3 million soums in August) in the reporting period. The average price of realized one security was 345.5 soums in August 2015 (757.1 soums in August 2014).
The largest deal of the month was registered on 6 August 2015, within which 14.2 million shares of Kogon yog extract were sold for 4.9 billion soums.
About 61.1% of deals or 4.9 billion soums were carried out with securities of agri-industrial complex, 26.3% or 2.1 billion soums – commercial banks, 12.1% or 0.9 billion soums – other industries. Share of other industries was 0.5%.
