UZSE turnover makes up 7.4bn soums in February
The exchange said that it recorded 124 deals with 3.1 million securities of 36 issuers.
According to UZSE, one deal for 2.02 billion soums was registered at the platform on placement of corporate bonds and one deal for 0.59 billion soums at the platform on placement of shares of state assets, one deal for 0.02 billion soums at the platform for circulation of corporate bonds.
UZSE also registered 81 deals for 0.2 billion soums at the platform on circulation of shares of listed companies and 34 deals for 1.68 billion soums at the platform on circulation of shares of non-listed enterprises. Six deals for 2.87 billion soums were recorded at repo platform.
The exchange said that the deals for 4.75 billion soums were recorded at the secondary market (64.5% of total turnover). Turnover of IPO market made up 2.61 billion soums or 35.5% of UZSE turnover.
The average size of exchange deals in February made up 59.4 million soums against 22.8 million soums in the same period of 2012.
The average daily volume of deals with securities made up 368.2 million soums in February 2013 against 99.7 million soums in February 2012. The average price of one security made up 2,387.3 soums (1,493.1 soums in February 2012).
The largest deal was recorded on 26 February at IPO market. Over 2,000 bonds of Microcreditbank were placed for 2.02 billion soums.
The analysis of the market showed that shares of financial sector were highly demanded. Share of financial sector in total turnover made up 83% or 6.1 billion soums, including share of banks – 43.8% or 3.2 billion soums and leasing companies – 39.2% or 2.9 billion soums.
