UZSE turnover makes up 73bn soums in 1Q 2016

In the first quarter of 2016, 983 exchange deals were recorded at the exchange, in the result of which 20.5 million shares of 55 issuers were sold.

About 56.6% of total turnover or 41.3 billion soums fell to the IPO market. At the same time, the IPO market turnover rose almost 4.5 times compared to the first quarter of 2015.

Share of the secondary market made up 43.4% or 31.7 billion soums, of which 19.3 billion soums (26.4%) fell to share of state assets.

About 54.8% of exchange deals or 40 billion soums fell to share of financial sector, including 54.75% or 39.95 billion soums – to share of the banks and 0.002 billion soums (0.001%) to insurance companies.

Some 4.6% of deals or 3.4 billion soums were carried out with the securities of agri-industrial complex and 7.2% or 5.2 billion soums – industrial sector, as well as 0.3% or 0.2 billio nsoums – construction industry.
