UZSE turnover makes up 329.8 billion soums in 9month

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In nine months of 2018, Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 329.8 billion soums, which is 4.8 times higher compared to the same period of 2017 (for 9 months 2017 - 68.4 billion soums).

During the reporting period, 7.3 billion securities of 113 joint-stock companies were sold.

In the reporting period, about 80.2% of turnover or 264.5 billion soums were conducted with securities of enterprises of the financial sector. At the same time, 76.9% of turnover or 253.6 billion soums were carried out with the shares of the banks.Turnover with shares of insurance companies amounted to 10.9 billion soums.

The share of the agro-industrial complex made up 4.9% or 16.2 billion soums (for 9 months of 2017 - 23.9% or 16.4 billion soums).

The share of the industrial sector was 3.6% in the turnover of the exchange or 11.8 billion soums (for 9 months of 2017 - 0.4% or 0.2 billion soums) and the share of enterprises in the construction industry - 3.0%, or 10 , 2 billion soums (for 9 months of 2017 - 2.1%, or 1.4 billion soums).
