UZSE turnover makes up 1.6bn soum in October

Turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 1.6 billion soums in October 2015, which fell by 5.5 times compared to the same month of 2014 (8.8 billion soums).
In the reporting month, the exchange recorded 138 deals for realization of 119.2 million securities of 21 issuers.
About 86.7% of deals (1.4 billion soums) were registered in the secondary market and 13.3% - in the IPO market.
The average size of the exchange deals in October was 11.4 million soums (135.8 million soums). The size of average daily deals with the securities made up 78.4 million soums (420.2 million in October 2014). The average price of one realized share was 13.2 soums (1,299 soums in October 2014).
The largest deal was recorded on 9 October 2015, when 7.6 million shares of Bank Ipak Yoli were traded for 0.8 billion soums.
The exchange noted that 68.3% of deals or 1.07 billion soums fell to share of commercial banks, 10.5% or 0.16 billion soums – insurance companies, 9.5% or 0.15 billion soums – enterprises of construction complex.
