UZSE turnover makes up 104.4bn soums in Jan-May
In the reporting period, the exchange recorded 1,701 deals. Some 73.9 million securities of 72 joint stock companies were realized within these deals, UZSE said.
About 50.8% of deals or 53 billion soums fell to share of the secondary market. At the same time, the deals for 19.3 billion soums (or 18.5% from exchange turnover) were carried out with the state assets.
Share of the IPO market in total turnover made up 49.2% or 51.4 billion soums in the first five months of 2016, which rose almost four times compared to the same period of 2015.
About 76% of deals or for 79.4 billion soums were conducted by the legal entities. About 27.7% of them or 22 billion soums fell to share foreign investors.
Some 24% of deals or for 25 billion soums were carried out by individual investors. At the same time, 10.9% of deals or for 11.4 billion soums fell to share of foreign investors.
