UZSE turnover hits 9 bn soums in April 2012

In April 2012, the UZSE registered 106 deals with 22.2 million securities of 36 issuers.

Share of the IPO market in total turnover made up 3.5 billion soums or 38.5%. The secondary market accounted 61.5% of deals or 5.5 billion soums.

Average size of the deal in April made up 85 million soums. The average volume of daily deals reached 450.6 million soums.

Largest deal was recorded on 30 April at IPO market with shares of Savdogarbank. Within the deal, some 13.7 million shares were sold for 1.4 billion soums.

Investors expressed interest in securities of commercial banks as 62.3% of deals or 5.6 billion soums were conducted with securities of the commercial banks. Share of insurance companies made up 13.8% or 1.1 billion soums and agriculture complex – 4.6% or 0.2 billion soums.
