UZSE turnover hits 1.9bn soums in February
Overall the exchange recorded 83 deals with 1.3 million securities of 30 issuers, the UZSE said.
At the same time, the IPO market registered deals for 0.65 billion soums (34.3% of total UZSE turnover in February) and the secondary market – 1.24 billion soums (65.7%).
The average size of the volume of exchange deals made up 22.8 million soums in February. The size of average daily deals reached 145.7 million soums.
Largest deal was recorded on 14 February at the IPO market with shares of Asaka Bank. Some 8,600 shares of the bank were traded for 494.5 million soums.
The exchange noted that 55.7% of all deals in February or 1.05 billion soums fell to share of securities of commercial banks. About 11.9% of deals (0.23 billion soums) fell to share of agriculture complex and 11.8% (0.22 billion soums) to construction sector.
