UZSE turnover hits 158.4bn soums in Jan-Jul

In the reporting period, 156.7 million shares of 88 joint companies were realized to investors.

About 62.4% of total turnover or 98.8 billion soums fell to share of the secondary market. The volume of trade turnover in the secondary market rose by 1.5 times year-on-year (65.4 billion soums in seven months of 2015).

Share of the IPO market made up 37.6% or 59.6 billion soums in seven months of 2016, which grew three times compared to the same period of 2015 (19.7 billion soums).

Enterprises of financial sector accounted 55% of total turnover of 87.1 billion soums, of which 55.6% or 86.4 billion soums fell to share of banks, 0.4% or 0.7 billion soums – insurance companies. Agro-industrial enterprises accounted 4% of turnover or 6.4 billion soums.
