UZSE turnover hits 14.1bn soums in May

The volume of trades with the securities at Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 14.1 billion soums in May, which rose 2.1 times compared to May 2015.
Overall, the exchange recorded 324 deals with 36.6 million securities of 33 issuers in May.
About 93% of deals or 13.1 billion fell to share of the secondary market and 7% (1 billion soums) to the IPO market, the exchange said.
The largest deal was registered on 17 May with the securities of Savdogarbank. Within the deal, 19.4 million shares of the bank were traded for 1.9 billion soums.
The average size of the exchange deals made up 43.6 million soums in may. The size of average daily deals was 705.9 million soums. The average price of one realized security was 385.9 soums.
About 83.6% of deals were conducted with the securities of commercial banks, 5.4% - construction enterprises and 3.8% - agri-industrial complex.
