UzSE to increase charter capital to 1bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Supervisory Council of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange “Tashkent” adopted decision on 2 October 2009 to raise its charter capital.
The UzSE said its authorized capital will be increased to 1 billion soums via emission of new shares.
The exchange said it will issue 325,465 shares with par value of 2,560 soums each. Total volume of issue will make 833,190,400 soums.
Uzbekistan Stock Exchange “Tashkent” was founded on 8 April 1994 in line with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan. The exchange’s turnover made up 111.9 billion soums in 2008, including hard currency turnover comprised US$24 million.
