UZSE: Securities of banks are most attractive
He said that about 84.5% of UZSE turnover in January-September 2015 or 96 billion soums fell to share of commercial banks. The figure made up 86.2% and 51.9 billion soums in the same period of 2014.
Main part of the securities of the commercial banks was traded in the secondary market or 76.9% of total turnover (73.9 billon soums). If compare the figure with the same period of 2014 (62.5%), the trades with the securities of the bank rose by 22%.
Ochilov said that largest deals were conducted with shares of Ipoteka-Bank at the size of 43 billion soums (or 51.1 of total volume of the secondary market), Asia Aliance Bank – 12.6 billion soums (14.8%) and InFinBank – 6.2 billion soums (7.4%) in the reporting period.
Share of commercial banks in the IPO market of UZSE was 76.7%. In nine months of 2015, five large banks of Uzbekistan placed shares for 22.1 billion soums via the UZSE.
He said that both individuals and legal entities are interested in shares of the banks. In nine months of 2015, 93.4% of investments of individuals and 82.8% of legal entities were directed to the securities of the commercial banks.
