UZSE registers deals for 2.115 billion soums in November

Turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange “Tashkent” (UZSE) made up 2.115 billion soums in November 2012, which fell 5.4 times compared to the same period of 2011 (11.5 billion soums).
In November, the exchange recorded 65 deals with 2.8 million securities of 21 issuers, the UZSE said.
UZSE said that deals for 0.0003 billion soums (0.02% of total turnover) were carried out at corporate bonds platform and 2.115 billion soums (99.98% - at secondary market platform.
Average size of the deals in November made up 32.5 million soums (115.5 million soums in October). The size of daily average deals with securities reached 111.3 million soums (352.6 million soums in October).
The largest deal in November was recorded on 1 November 2012 with shares of Kapitalbank at the secondary market. Some 26,900 shares for 274.4 million soums were sold within the deal.
The exchange said that largest number of deals was recorded with securities of financial sector. Over 70.1% or 1.5 billion soums of deals fell to share of financial sector, including shares of the bank – 1 billion soums (47.5%) and leasing company – 0.5 billion soums (22.6%).
