UZSE records deals for 7.1bn soums in September
In September 2012, the UZSE registered 48 deals with 12.6 million shares of 29 issuers, the exchange said.
UZSE said that deals for 0.6 billion soums (8.8% of total turnover) were recorded in additional shares emission section, for 2.4 billion soums (33.6%) – corporate bonds section and for 4.1 billion soums (57.6%) – secondary market.
In the reporting period, the exchange recorded three deals for 3 billion soums in IPO corporate bonds section, 31 deals for 3.5 billion soums – in listed companies section, 13 deals for 0.3 billion soums – non-listed companies section and 0.2 billion soums in REPO section.
The average size of exchange deals in September made up 146.9 million soums. The size of average daily deals made up 440.8 million soums.
The largest deal was registered on 20 September 2012 in the IPO corporate bonds section with the bonds of Uzpromstroybank. Some 20,000 bonds were sold for 2 billion soums.
In the reporting period, securities of the financial organizations were highly demanded in the market. Share of the industry made up 72.2% or 5.1 billion soums, of which 4.97 billion soums (70.43%) fell to share of banks, 0.06 billion soums (0.83%) – insurance companies – 0.06 billion soums (0.9%).
