UZSE records deals for 5.2bn soums in Jan-Feb

In the reporting period, the exchange registered 112 deals on realization of 1.98 million shares of 37 issuers, the UZSE said.

Share of IPO market in total turnover reached 51% or 2.6 billion soums in the reporting period, while the secondary market accounted 49% of deals or 2.5 billion soums.

In the reporting period, the investors were interested mostly in the shares of financial institutions – commercial banks and insurance companies. About 83.9% of deals or 4.4 billion soums were conducted with shares of this sector. At the same time, some 82.9% of deals or 4.3 billion soums fell to share of commercial banks.

Share of industrial sector in total turnover made up 1.3% or 0.07 billion soums, construction industry – 4.9% or 0.26 billion soums and agroindustrial complex – 4.4% or 0.22 billion soums.
