UZSE records deals for 170.4bn soums in Jan-Sep

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 170.4 billion soums in nine months of 2016, which rose almost 1.5 times compared to the same period of 2015 (113.5 billion soums in January-September 2015).

About 2,193 deals with 222.8 million shares of 95 issuers were recorded at the exchange.

About 55.7% of deals or 94.9 billion fell to share of the financial institutions. About 55% of deals or 93.8 billion soums were recorded with the shares of the bank and 0.7% or 1.1 billion soums – insurance companies.

Share of agri-industrial complex in total deals made up 5.5% or 9.4 billion soums, industrial sector – 8% or 13.7 billion soums, construction enterprises – 1.1% ot 1.8 billion soums.
