UZSE records deals for 164.9bn soums in Jan-Aug

About 61.5% of total deals or 101.4 billion soums fell to share of the secondary market, of which 20.4 billion soums (12.4%) – state assets. The secondary market turnover grew 1.4 times year-on-year in eight months of 2016 (72.9 billion soums in 8 months of 2015).

IPO market share made up 38.5% or 63.5 billion soums in the reporting period, growing three times compared to the same period of 2015 (20.3 billion soums).

About 54% of exchange deals or 89.4 billion soums were conducted with securities of financial institutes, including 53.5% or 88.3 billion soums - to banks.

Some 5.7% of deals or 9.4 billion soums were conducted with share of agri-industrial complex, 8.3% or 13.6 billion soums – industrial sector, and 1.1% or 1.8 billion soums – construction enterprises.
