UZSE records deals for 161bn soums in 2015

According to the UZSE, the exchange carried out 2,794 deals with the securities in 2015, which increased three times compared to 2014. Overall, the deals were carried out with shares of 78 joint stock companies.

About 58.8% of deals with shares and corporate bonds or 94.7 billion soums were recorded in the secondary market. The volume of deals in the secondary market rose three times year-on-year.

About 128 companies were included to official listing of the exchange in 2015. Market capitalization of listed companies as of 31 December 2015 made up 8.4 trillion soums compared to 7.01 trillion soums in 2014.
