UZSE records deals for 15.3bn soums in June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 15.3 billion soums in June 2016, which rose over 10 times compared to June 2015 (1.5 billion soums).

According to the exchange, some 241 deals with 32.8 million securities of 33 issuers were registered in June.

About 81.3% of deals or 12.4 billon soums fell to share of the secondary market, while share of IPO market made up 18.7% or 2.9 billion soums.

Average size of the exchange deals in June was 63.6 million soums. The average daily size of the deals with securities was 696.4 million soums. Average price of one security is 466.5 soums.

Over 68.8% of deals were conducted with securities of financial institutions, 14.4% - agri-industrial complex and 3.9% - industry.
