UZSE records deals for 10.8bn soums in May

Overall, the exchange recorded 86 deals with 11 million shares of 29 issuers.

Share of secondary market made up 97.6% or 2.7 billion soums. The turnover of the IPO market was 0.07 billion soums or 2.4%.

The average size of the exchange deals reached 125.3 million in May 2014 against 41.6 million soums in May 2013. The average daily volume of deals with the securities reached 567.1 million soums in May 2014 (139.4 million soums in May 2013).

The average price of one share was 975.7 soums in May 2014 against 853.4 soums in the same month in 2013.

The largest deal of the month was recorded on 7 May, within which 1.7 mllion shares of Invest Finance Bank were traded for 1.7 billion soums.

The exchanged said that 83.1% or 5.5 billion soums of deals fell to share of the securities of the banks and 8.4% or 0.9 billion soums – insurance companies.
