Uzneftmahsulot denies rumors on hike of prices for gasoline

The company called drivers not to worry about lines at petrol stations in Tashkent and some districts. The enterprise said that the situation is out of control of Uzneftmahsulot.

Uzneftmahsulot denied rumors on increasing price of petroleum and stated that the gasoline prices will nor hike in near future.

The company also denied rumors on limiting petroleum supplies. It said that petroleum to fuelling stations will be supplied not only in the planned volume, but over it as well.

The Uzbek company underlined that the drivers, believing rumors, are making reserves of fuel, storing it at home or garage, despite danger of such actions. Some drivers, buying full tank of fuel, poor off fuel to gasoline can and head to fuelling station again, the company said.

The company said that it is adopting measures to increase production of gasoline at refineries, including via increasing import of hydrocarbons, to stabilize situation with the petroleum supplies.
