UzMobile implements project on CDMA-450 network development in Uzbek regions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbektelecom joint stock company announced a tender on supply of telecommunication equipment within the project “Development of mobile network of UzMobile (CDMA-450) with providing high-speed Internet services (EVDO technology).
The tender is held on two lots: Lot 1 – Development of mobile network of CDMA-450 of the branch UzMobile in southern regions of Uzbekistan and Lot 2 – Development of mobile network of CDMA-450 of the branch UzMobile in northern regions of Uzbekistan.
The maximum price of purchased equipment and services on lot 1 makes up US$6.9 million and lot 2 – US$5.8 million.
The project will be financed due to own resources of Uzbektelecom (15% of sum) and loans of the supplier, issued for 5 years. Tender proposals should be submitted till 6 February 2015.
