UzLiDeP projects help to improve women’s health
This was discussed at the “round table” “Healthy Family is strong community, society and stable country”, organized by the Executive Committee of Political Council of UzLiDeP on September 29, 2015, in Uchtepa district.
As noted in the event, the issues of supporting women in their health and having a healthy baby are relevant today. This is evidenced by the fact that in the years of independence, women’s life expectancy has increased from 67 to 75 years and maternal and infant mortality has reduced in 3.1 and 3.2 times.
Issues of development of the health care system, providing qualified medical assistance to the population are reflected in the election program of UzLiDeP. Via implementation of these tasks, “Women’s wing” of UzLiDeP under the party project “Healthy Family is a strong family” organized more than 210 seminars where 11,742 women from remote areas have passed free medical examination in 2015 as well as they received useful advice and consultations from specialists.
Indeed, UzLiDeP projects help to improve public-political activity of women and ensure their participation in reforms in the country.
