UzLiDeP faction discusses issues of execution of Presidential Decree

At the meeting was discussed issues of UzLiDeP faction participation in the implementation Presidential Decree “On measures on ensuring reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship, eliminating barriers for their fast development” because it became a logical step in cardinal increasing role and place of private property in the economy and decreasing state presence in the economy, gradual growth of the share of the private property in GDP, including with foreign capital.

MPs of UzLiDeP noted that Uzbekistan carries out market reforms to ensure dynamic growth of economy and key part of success is further liberalization of economy, improving freedom and economic independence of business entities, decreasing controlling and regulating function of the state, eliminating barriers for development of entrepreneurship. In last 15 years share of small and private businesses in Uzbekistan’s GDP grew from 31% to 56% and they employ 77% of the employed population.

UzLiDeP deputies in their work pay attention to ensure the legislative processes of economic liberalization, the introduction of market principles and mechanisms of governance, a favorable business climate, removing unnecessary bureaucratic barriers and obstacles to the development of private property and private enterprise.

The practical part of the decree is the approved program of action, which is directed at speeding up development of private property and entrepreneurship, simplifying registration of them, provide more freedom to entrepreneurship via liberalization of legislation. UzLiDeP deputies in their work pay attention to ensure the legislative processes of economic liberalization, the introduction of market principles and mechanisms of governance, a favorable business climate, removing unnecessary bureaucratic barriers and obstacles to the development of private property and private enterprise.

The UzLiDeP faction analyzed the presidential decree and noted that it is necessary to carry out exploitation work of the decree, which will improve business environment and protection of private property in Uzbekistan.

It was also underlined that UzLiDeP faction will actively involve in a wide advocacy work related to this decree. In particular, to remove the bureaucratic barriers, ensure openness and transparency at receiving state services and creation of one-stop-shop centers for registration of businesses and rendering to their services.

UzLiDeP will widely explain this decree among the population, because implementation of the act will help to improve business environment in Uzbekistan, increase local and foreign investments, creation of new jobs, which would contribute to the welfare of the population.

At the end of the meeting the relevant decisions of UzLiDeP faction on all discussed issues were taken.
