UzLiDeP critically reviewed its work in 2016

It was noted that UzLiDeP and its lower units put before themselves task to be active participants in the political process, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its electorate, to improve the political culture of the population, to deepen the process of democratization of society, and to increase the well-being of the people.

In addition, before the party structures and party deputy groups tasked to monitor and analyze the execution programs of socio-economic development of region, the existing laws, government programs, decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as study and solution of the existing problems at places.

In particular, during the reporting period, the party conducted 953 analytical activities on the issue of youth employment, raising living standards of the population and the development of small business, private entrepreneurship and farming, as well as reports of 2971 officials were heard, and 5100 deputy inquiries were sent. Deputies sent 1682 proposals to the Council of deputies and 1185 proposals of them were considered positively. During the reporting period deputy groups received 3625 applications from entrepreneurs and farmers, many of them have been resolved positively.

It was noted that the main purpose in our society today is the human interests, honour and dignity, raising the level and quality of life of the population. Therefore, the deputies have to strengthen deputy control over the implementation of laws protecting the interests of the electorate of the party.

During the event, the activities of the regional councils of the party and deputy groups critically reviewed, mistakes, shortcomings and not used possibilities were discussed and the recommendations and proposals were adopted.

At the event identified priorities for 2017, namely, to introduce new effective mechanism for open dialogue with citizens, to strengthen interaction between deputies of local councils and party faction, to establish strict deputy control over the laws which protect the interests of entrepreneurs and farmers, to attract women and youth to engage in entrepreneurial activities and others.
