Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 November, an official meeting of delegation members was held at Uzkimyesanoat, consisting of representatives of one of the largest companies in the oil and chemical industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, the Swedish company SOCAR Trading SA and the company Saudi Arabia Chemtrade LLC.

This visit was organized in order to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks identified in the Road Map, approved within the framework of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan on 14-15 October 2019 as part of the forum of Turkic-speaking states.

During the visit, with the participation of Uzkimyosanoat and SOCAR, in order to further strengthen trade relations between the countries of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, an agreement was reached between the parties on the creation of a joint venture for the export of chemical products and its management mechanisms.
