Uzkimyosanoat and Samsung Engineering to implement projects for US$556 million.

In particular, the parties agreed to implement the project “Modernization of ammonia and carbamide production facilities at Ferghanaazot” worth US$91 million.

The project “Modernization of production of ammonium nitrate AC 72M and non-concentrated nitric acid AK 72M at Ferganaazot” will also be implemented by the sides. The cost of the project is US$15 million.

Uzkimyosanoat and Samsung Engineering will implement the projects “Organization of ammonia production in Almalyk with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes” and “Organization of carbamide production in Almalyk with a capacity of 350,000 tonnes” worth US$300 million and US$150 million respectively.

To implement these projects, the funds for US$321 million will be borrowed.
