UzkhimyoSanoat JSC and Sinoma Energy Sign Energy Efficiency Agreements
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 December, Odil Temirov, Chairman of the Board of UzkhimyoSanoat JSC, held a working meeting with Meng Xinlin, Chairman of the Chinese industrial engineering company Sinoma Energy Conservation.
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation and prospects for its expansion in the fields of renewable energy and environmentally safe technologies. It was noted that Sinoma Energy Conservation is one of the world’s leading companies in green energy and is implementing several major projects in Uzbekistan. In particular, a 300 MW solar power plant has already been commissioned in Karmana district of Navoi region.
In addition, the companies are jointly carrying out the phased replacement of outdated pumping stations at chemical industry enterprises with modern energy-efficient units. Under the first stage of the project, six pumps at Navoiyazot JSC are planned to be fully replaced by the end of the year, which will save around 11 million kWh of electricity.
The meeting also examined in detail projects related to implementing energy-saving technologies at Maxam-Chirchiq JSC, upgrading ammonium nitrate production facilities at Navoiyazot JSC, and introducing new environmentally safe technologies across chemical industry enterprises.
Following the talks, UzkhimyoSanoat JSC and Sinoma Energy Conservation signed four agreements aimed at improving energy efficiency, building new production capacities, and introducing modern technologies in Uzbekistan’s chemical industry.
