UzHydromet Warns of Avalanche Risk in Uzbekistan’s Mountains

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to UzHydromet, avalanche danger is expected in the country’s foothill and mountainous areas from December 6 to 9 due to upcoming precipitation and sharp temperature fluctuations.

The risk has been forecast for the following regions:

Tashkent Region — Akhangaran, Bostanlyk, and Parkent districts (Chatkal mountain range)

Namangan Region — Pap district

Residents of foothill and mountain areas, tourists, and drivers planning trips to these regions are advised to exercise caution and avoid hazardous routes.
