Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Center of the Hydrometeorological Service of Uzbekistan previously reported that on 4 November 2021, cold air will invade the territory of Uzbekistan from the regions of the Urals.

In the zone of the cold front, an increase in wind was observed up to 12-15 m/s, in some places in Bukhara, Navoi, Jizzakh regions up to 20-25 m/s.

"Under the influence of gusts of wind, the heavily dried up top layer of the soil rose up, creating the effect of dusty-sandy haze with a deterioration in visibility up to 500-1000 m in a number of regions of the republic," Uzhydromet said in a statement.

The amount of dust in the air exceeds the norm by 5 times

Currently, the wind speed is 5-10 m/s and is forecast until 24:00.
