UZEX weekly turnover hits 118.5 billion soums
The press service of UZEX said that all trade platforms, excluding exchange trades, recorded growth last week.
Exchange trade
In the beginning of the month, the volume of exchange trades decreased with start of forming monthly volumes of products, put for exchange trades. Share of the food products decreased from 23% to 10%, while share of construction materials reached 48%. Slightly changes were observed in oil products, liquefied gas and polyethylene. Growth of non-ferrous metals helped to increase their share in the exchange trades to 10%.
The exports market recorded growth. The growth rate made up twice and reached US$5.7 million. In the reporting period, the market registered growth of the volume and assortment of the products. Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine realized cathode copper for US$816,000, which made up about 27% of the market. Aggregate share of industrial and motor oils, produced at Ferghana Refinery, reached 7%. Other part of the market fell to share of cement, liquefied gas and polyethylene.
Exhibition-fair trades
In the reporting period, turnover of the exhibition-fair trades made up 13.1 billion soums, which rose by 796.6 million soums compared to previous week. The share of internal deals made up 10.4 billion soums and export deals – 2.7 billion soums. The result was achieved despite decrease of the volume of deals and trade partners. Small businesses realized goods for 6.8 billion soums last week, which rose by 1.4 billion soums compared to previous week.
About 70% from all deals were conducted by Tashkent branch of the UZEX. Non-ferrous and ferrous metals were sold for 4.7 billion soums, which grew by 1.3 billion soums. The volume of sold machinery products reached 1.6 billion soums and agriculture goods – 1.2 billion soums.
Largest deal was recorded with copper wire at the export market in Tashkent branch. Its sum made up 1.8 billion soums. Largest deal in internal market was 735 million soums.
Public procurement
The volume of public procurement deals rose from 7.1 billion soums to 13.4 billion soums. The number of deals rose 2.3 times to 7,759 units. The budget resources for 2.4 billion soums were saved in the result. Share of small businesses reached 95%.
Ferghana region moved to the first place on number of deals. Karakalpakstan slipped from the first place to the third. Andijan region moved to the second place.
Corporate procurement
The volume of corporate procurement made up 2.9 billion soums, which rose by 21% year-on-year. The sum of saved resources reached 621 million soums.
Number of signed deals rose from 131 to 144. Share of Tashkent city in total volume decreased from 62% to 42. The share of Navoi reached 18%. Kashkadarya region’s share made up 15%, Ferghana region – 8% and Samarkand region – 6%.
Electronics and products of light industry led with the share of 36% in corporate procurement market. Share of construction materials fell from 15% to 4%. Machinery products accounted 12% of deals.
