UZEX turnover makes up 2.62 trln. soums in 1Q

Total trade turnover of Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) made up 2.62 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2016, which rose by 31% year-on-year.
According to the press service of the exchange, the volume of exchange deals rose by 30% in the reporting period and made up 2.09 trillion soums.
Exhibition-fair trade platform recorded deals for 335.3 billion soums in January-March 2016, which rose by 45.25% compared to the same period of 2015.
The volume of trades at public procurement (D-xarid) rose by 13% in the reporting period. About 22 billion soums of budget resources were saved.
Corporate procurement platform (E-xarid) grew by 20% year-on-year to 96.7 billion soums. Some 26.3 billion soums were saved in the result.
