UZEX turnover makes up 1.2 trillion soums in 1Q 2012

The exchange said that some 48,000 deals worth 1.1 trillion soums were registered in internal exchange trades.

The most traded goods in internal market were food products (24.9%), construction materials (23.8%) and fuel-lubricant products (12.2%).

Trade turnover of UZEX in hard currency platform made up almost 60 billion soums. Some 6,200 tonnes of mineral fertilizers were realized through the platform, which grew six times year-on-year. Total sum of fertilizers realized via UzEX in hard currency made up US$1.8 million.

Turnover of exhibition-fair trade in the reporting period made up 116 billion soums, which rose by 6% year-on-year. Some 5,900 deals were concluded at the trade platform.
