UZEX turnover hits 162.1bn soums on 11-15 March
The volume of exchange trade grew by 83% to 149.4 billion soums. Share of food products in structure of trade grew from 9% to 29%, and non-ferrous metals fell from 16% to 9%. About 58% of market fell to share of construction materials and food products.
In the reporting period, at the hard currency platform of UZSE realized local goods for over US$3.9 million, which rose five times. About 75% of this market fell to share of polyethylene and liquefied gas. Other part was shared among cathode copper and Portland cement.
Exhibition and fair trades
Turnover of the exhibition and fair trades made up 5.7 billion soums. Some 595 deals were registered within the exhibition and fair trades last week.
Products of machinery were main items of trades last week. Another important item was construction materials.
Largest deal was recorded by Bukhara region’s brokers. The sum of the deal made up 326.2 million soums.
Public procurement
Trade turnover of public procurement made up 1.7 billion soums, which grew by 68%. The exchange said that share of small businesses in total public procurement made up 96.3%.
Largest deal was recorded in Jizzakh region. The sum of deal was 77.7 million soums and the deal was directed at purchase of equipment, furniture and sport tools.
